Accessibility Statement

Advanced Trichology is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the experience for all of our customers and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, have limited movement, or have cognitive or learning disabilities. Our website partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA, which means some parts do not yet fully meet the standard.

What we have done

  • Added text descriptions to images, icons and buttons so they can be understood with a screen reader.
  • Made shopping fully usable with a keyboard, including choosing a plan, adding to cart, the cart, search and our hair loss quiz.
  • Added a visible focus indicator so keyboard users can always see where they are on the page, and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Improved the colour contrast of text and controls across the site.
  • Added pause controls to moving content such as videos, sliders and scrolling reviews, and stopped animations for visitors who have asked their device to reduce motion.
  • Made sure updates such as “Cart updated” and form errors are announced to screen reader users.
  • Tested the site with automated accessibility tools and by hand with a keyboard.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content is not yet fully accessible:

  • Some decorative animations, such as scrolling logo strips and background videos, do not have a pause button. They stop automatically when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • A small number of buttons on mobile screens do not yet meet the colour contrast standard.
  • Some features are provided by third parties, including our chat assistant, review and badge widgets, and embedded video players. We do not control this content.
